Notes for newcomers in the DAV-Section Garching

Here you can find the list of membership fees and the description of the different membership categories.

You can receive the member's certificate card for the German Alpine Club (DAV)

• either immediately in the club's office after having paid in cash the membership fee(s) for the current year plus the admission charge,
• or it will be sent by mail to your home address. The related membership fee(s) plus the admission charge will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.

Make sure you have specified your bank account in the application form and signed it properly. If several members of your family jointly apply for family membership, then please add all of their names and date of birth on the second page of this form.

All personal data are stored only for the internal purpose of the DAV, according to law.

The membership starts when the membership fee has been paid for the current year. To cancel a membership, you have to do this in writing to our Section not later than 15. October, to be effective for the end of the same year.

Please report any change of your address (preferably on this form) to the office of our Section (not to the main office of the DAV in Munich). By this you can make sure that you will regularly receive the DAV PANORAMA magazines and our Notices & Reports. Please do not forget to tell us also your new bank details (account and BLZ numbers) for your withdrawal instructions. If a withdrawal fails due to an invalid account number, this would cost high expenses to our Section and additional work to our unpaid staff.
